Goat heads – bane of my dog’s existence
Little known fact: tumbleweeds* are covered in these vicious little thorny things, which fall off and get stuck in shoes and feet, to painful effect. *Update: A friend clarified that while tumbleweeds do have thorny growths, they aren’t the source of goat heads. I think this photo speaks for itself, but in case it doesn’t… BIGFOOT IS HIDING IN AN ANTHILL IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD! Or maybe it’s BIGFOOT CAPTURED BY ANTS IN THE CALIFORNIA DESERT! I don’t know exactly what it is, but it’s clearly something. Theories are invited.
